Gareth moved to the UK in 2004 and went on to join the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield where he worked with a number of sports including UK Athletics, Bob Skeleton, GB Boxing, GB Diving, GB Volleyball and GB Table Tennis and GB Handball. He also worked with a number of Paralympic athletes from GB Table Tennis, UK Athletics, GB Swimming, GB Wheelchair Basketball among others.
Subsequently, Gareth worked in the North East of England in a private practice and was also regional lead physiotherapist for TASS. He was re-called to work as an independent consultant with British Diving. He is now the head physiotherapist for British Diving.
Gareth has attended 3 Olympic Games (Athens, Beijing and London), 2 All-Africa Games (South Africa, Nigeria), the Afro-Asia Games (as physiotherapist for Africa Athletics in India) as well as numerous World championships, European Championships and World Series competitions with British Diving.
